Abstract
For grounding devices of current 110 kV and 220 kV gas insulated switchgear(GIS) substations, the problems in the design are analyzed. The commonly used design idea of extending the grounding network and the use of materials are analyzed.Based on the experience in operation and maintenance, solutions and suggestions are proposed to improve grounding device design.
