Abstract

Cognitive context is one of a series of contexts reflected in cerebrum, and is also a cognitive reasoning ability formed on this basis. Cognitive context is the deepening and development of traditional context. However, metaphor is not only a mode of rhetoric but a mode of thinking. In order to understand metaphorical expression, we should look for the shared cognitive context of both sides so as to understand the real meaning of words.
