Abstract
Based on gas liquid two-phase flow theory in annulus, well bore calculation model of gas overflow was established, the numerical computation method was illustrated.Effects of gas invasion rate and casing pressure on bottom pressure were studied. The control behavior of well head pressure which was put after gas invasion was analyzed. One control method, which maintained certain well head pressure while circulating drilling, was presented. The pressure should be increased when gas kick was detecting. This method could mitigate formation fluid invasion action. It also could control expansion and migration of gas influx effectively. Therefore,it would decrease risk of well control operation.
