Study of Determining the Optimal Road Toll-ratio for Toll-highways

Abstract
There is a dynamic relationship between the revenue and the toll-ratio in toll highways. Based on the utility maximization principle, this paper establishes a relation model that describes the relationship between the revenue and the toll-ratio. The optimal toll-ratio may be found by using this model. Finally, a calculating example is presented through practical data.
