Abstract
Visual anthropology is the effective way for anthropology to record and reflect on human society by the way of photograph and film.The practical and research on the visual anthropology began from 1890s' in England and American,it has also been gradually paid great attention in the recent more than forty years in China.Based on the analysis and arrangement to the relation of the film technology with the ethnology and anthropology,this paper explore the situation that the ethnology and anthropology made use of the film technology in China and the development of the visual ethnology and visual anthropology,
