Abstract
Objective: To discuss the efect of NTS on moxibustion pre-protection of the gastric mucosa. Methods: 40SD rats were randomly divided into 4 groups: control group(Group A), model group(Group B), pre-moxibustion group(Group C),and group of pre-moxibustion+damage nucleus of solitary tract(Group D). Damaged bilateral NTS of Group D by brain stereotaxic and dc damaged technology, then applied moxibustion at Zusanli point(ST36). After poured absolute ethanol into stomachs to injury the gastric mucosa of rats, to observe the UI and pathological section of gastric mucosa. The contents of EGF and SS in gastric mucosa were detected by ELISA, and the expressions of HSP70 in gastric mucosa were detected by Western-blot. Results:①Afterpouredabsoluteethanolintostomach,thegastricmucosaofGroupBwereinjuredobviously.Itwasillustratedthatacute gastric mucosa injury model was made successfully. The UI of Group C and D was lower than that of Group B, more or less(P0.05,P0.01), and the UI of Group C was lower than Group D(P0.01). ②The observation by optical microscope suggested that the gastric mucosa of Group A contained abundant capillaries, epithelial cells arranged completely and orderly, the gastric mucosa of Group B was injured obviously and the structure of gastric mucosa was damaged, part of the cells fall of from the gastric mucosa of Group C and the congestion in cells had improved, the gastric mucosa of Group C still could ind cells hyperaemia though it had improved. ③The contents of EGF in gastric mucosa of Group C and D increased at diferent degrees and the contents of SS decreased than Group B(P0.05, P0.01). The contents of EGF of Group D were lower than Group C while the contents of SS were higher(P0.01). ④The expression of HSP70 in gastric mucosa of Group C and D increased obviously than Group B(P0.01),and Group D was lower than Group C(P0.05). Conclusion: Moxibustion pretreatment at Zusanli point(ST36) has the preprotection on acute gastric mucosa injury. After NTS damage, the gastric mucosa protective action of moxibustion pretreatment is weak. This proves that NTS had participate in signal transduction of the gastric mucosa protective action of moxibustion and can adjust the contents of protecting factors and the expressions of HSP70.
