Abstract
As an effective traffic organization mode,one-way traffic plays an important role in alleviating urban traffic pressure. Based on technical analysis of traffic conflicts and calculation of complexity at intersections and in comparison with two-way traffic organization, implementation of one-way traffic are simplify traffic organization at intersections, decrease the number of conflict points and reduce complexity so as to improve traffic performance and traffic safety at intersections as well as reduce traffic accidents. This shows very important significance for sustaining scientific development of our national urban traffic and guaranteeing travel safety of citizens.
