Electroless Nickel Plating on Surface of the Silk Fiber

Abstract
Operating methods and conditions of electroless nickel plating on surface of the silk fiber were studied,influence of several factors on nickel-plating on surface of the silk fiber was discussed.Then the combination strength between chemical coating and silk fiber was tested,the best process and optimum conditions were finally determined.The results show that the optimum conditions are as follows:pH=8.0,the nickel plating temperature 75 ℃ and the reaction time 30 min.Under above conditions,good nickel-plating coating on surface of silk fiber after pretreatment,sensitization and activation can be gained.
