A Comparative Study of Undergraduate Research Training of Research Universities between Chinese and American

Currently,undergraduate research has become one of the hottest topics in research universities.The article firstly analyzed the significance of undergraduate research activities,and then compared the undergraduate research experience between Chinese and American research universities from four aspects: organization and implementation,participation form,area coverage,quality and effect.Finally,using the American successful experience for reference and according to our practical situation,we put forward some suggestions in a bid to promote the development of undergraduate research activities in our research universities.
