Study on Extraction Process of Andrographolide from Andrographis paniculata

[Objective]The research aimed to study the optimum extraction process of andrographolide from Andrographis paniculata(Burm.f.)Nees.[Method] Firstly,different extraction solvent were studied to choose the best extract solvent,then two kind solvents,ethanol and alkaline extraction processes were optimized by the orthogonal experiment and the single factor experiment respectively.[Result] Solvent extraction study showed the extraction ratio of andrographolide by alkali,ethanol,water was 5.25‰,3.95‰,3.08‰ respectively.Results of different concentration of sodium carbonate water solution extraction experiment showed: 0.01% alkaline extraction could get the maximum extraction rate,the average extraction rate is 5.64‰.The best ethanol process was: adding 10 times of 85% ethanol,refluxing for 2 times,the average extraction rate was 4.80‰.[Conclusion] Compared these two extract methods,the sodium carbonate extract was better.
