Abstract

Objective To evaluate the efficacy and tolerability of levofloxacin based triple regimen therapy for Helicobacler pylori infection. Methods Patients with H pylori infection accompanied with peptic ulcer were randomly divided into clarithromycin treatment group and levoflaxacin group combined with amoxicillin and aomeiprazole. The course of treatmengt was ten days. The eradication rate of Helicobacter pylori and the healing rate of peptic ulcer were evaluated by the second endoscopy on the 28th day after completion of treatment. Results The eradication rates of H.pylori in groups A were 68.3 %,B were 89.7 % respectively, there were significant difference among the two groups(P0.05).The ulcerhealing rates in groups A,B were 89.2 % and 90.2 %; respectively, there were no significant difference among the three groups(P0.05).Conclusion Levofloxacin-based triple regimen therapy can heal the ulcers H.pylori effectively and safe for H pglori infection.
