Abstract

Wang-guowei’s theory of Jingjie was under the influence of Schopenhauer’s idea.To a certain degree,the theory of Jingjie is similar to the Chinese traditional theory of Jingjie,but at heart they are different.The theory of Jingjie has profound historical significance when Chinese literature theory transforms from tradition to modernity.
