Abstract

A new uncertainty comparison matrix—three-point interval number comparison matrix is put forward and its consistency and weight estimation approach are studied.Based on the complete consistency definition of three-point interval number comparison matrix, the possible value error and the upper- low error are defined.Following that,a weight model of three-point interval number com- parison matrixes is proposed. In second stage,a weight low-upper region estimation model is devel- oped to solve the misleading problem owing to the judgment error of decision maker. The properties of these models are studied. In the last, the model validity is demonstrated by examples.
