Abstract

Objective To explore the immunological pathogenesis of aplastic anemia (AA) in children. Methods To determine the CD3+?CD4+?CD8+ T-cell subgroups in peripheral blood of 32 children with aplastic anemia and 20 healthy children by flow cytometer (FCM).Results AA group had higher levels of CD8+ T-cell and a lower ratio of CD4+/CD8+ comparing to the control group (P0.05).Conclusion The increase of CD8+ levels and the decrease of CD4+/CD8+ ratio may be associated with the immunological pathogenesis of aplastic anemia in children.
