Abstract

Objective:To investigate the variations of serum total cholesterol(Tch),cholinesterase(ChE) and uric acid(UA) in patients with hepatocirrhosis and its clinical significance.Methods:112 patients with hepatocirrhosis after hepatitis B and 60 healthy controls were selected for observation and comparison of the levels of serum Tch,ChE and UA.Results:The levels of Tch,ChE and UA of patients with cirrhosis were lower obviously than those of normal controls, and the difference between them were significant(P0.01).The levels of Tch,ChE and UA in hepatocirrhosis decompensation group were lower than those in hepatocirrhosis compensation group(P0.01).Conclusion:The levels of Tch,ChE and UA in patients with hepatocirrhosis will decrease, and the decreasing extent will be positively correlated with severity of disease. So Tch,ChE and UA might be useful item for diagnosis, regression and prognosis of hepatocirrhosis.
