Clinical Observation on the Combination of Bifid Tetragenous Viable Bacteria Tablets and Trimebutine Maleate Capsules to Treat the IBS

Objective To observe the effect of the combination of Bifid Tetragenous Viable Bacteria Tablets and Trimebutine Maleate Capsules in treating the IBS.Methods 85 IBS patients were randomly divided into Group A and Group B;Group A was treated with Bifid Tetragenous Viable Bacteria Tablets(0.1g,Tid) and Trimebutine maleate Capsules(1.5g,Tid),while Group B was treated with VitBco Tablets(2~#,Tid),Diastase pancreatin and Pepsin Tablets(3~#,Tid);The treatment course of each group lasted for two weeks,the symptoms and ADR before and after treatment in both groups were recorded and were graded.Results The total effective rate in Group A was 93.3% while that in Group B was 22.5%,the difference was obvious(P0.005).Conclusions The treatment of the combination of BTVBT and TMC for IBS has exact effect and the patients can accept it easily,it is worthy of wide application.
