Abstract
Objective:To study diagnostic value of simultaneous detection of three tumor markers (cancer embryo antigen,CEA,neuron-specific enolaes,NSE;carbohydrate chain antigen 125,CA125)in patients with lung cancer. Methods: CEA and NSE and CA125 were measured by enzymelink immunosorbert assay in 73 healthy persens , 65 lung cancer patients and 67 lung benign diseases patients. Results: The level of three tumor markers in lung cancer group(n=65)was higher than that of benign lung disease group(n=67)and control group(n=73)(P0.01).The sensitivity of CEA to lung cancer was 86.9% and specificity was 91.1%;The sensitivity of NSE was 46.17% and specificity was 93.23%;The sensitivity of CA125 was 56.43% and specificity was 84.72%. Conclusion: The three lmarkers have diagnostic value to lung cancer and simultaneous detection has obvious complementarity and can significantly improve the sensitivity and specificity in diagnosis of lung cancer.
