Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effects of thymosin-α1 on cellular immune of patients with tumors of stomach and intestine in perioperative period. Methods:Forty patients with tumors of stomach and intestine were divided randomly into trial group(n=20) and control group(n=20).Patients in trial group were injected subcutaneously thymosinα1 1.6 mg 1 day before operation and 3 day after operation;patients in control group didn't use relative agent.Peripheral venous blood samples were taken the first day before operation, the second day and the seventh day after operation for the determination of subgroups of T cell and NK cell:CD3+,CD4+,CD8+,CD4+/CD8+ and CD56+.Results:Compared with the levels before the operation,CD3+,CD4+,CD8+,CD4+/CD8+ and CD56+ decreased markedly in both groups (P0.05)on the second day after the operation, especially in trial group;of which, there was significant difference between the two groups(P0.05).On the seventh after the operation day,the levels of CD3+,CD4+,CD8+,CD4+/CD8+ and CD56+ recovered to preoperational levels in both groups, compared with the two groups, there was no significant difference(P0.05).There was no significant change at CD8+ level all the time.Conclusion:Thymosin-α1can alleviate the immune inhibited condition of patients with tumors of stomach and intestine in perioperative period, and promote recovery of the immune after operation.
