Abstract

SVG is a XML application standard for describe graphics by vectors,and which is drafted by W3C.SVG has some advantages such as extensible,dynamic and interactive.SVG can support ability of handle complicated events,and it can be embedded into XHTML documents,form a full integrated and wellquality Web page.The concept and character of SVG are introduced.The document structure and basic shapes of SVG are described.In the end,the ways of embedded SVG file into XHTML,and a whole document example are given.
