Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effect of Medopor implantantion in surgical reconstruction of orbital bowl-out fractures. Methods According to the computed tomography(CT) examination,25 obrital blow-out fracture patients received orbital reconstruction with Medopor implantantion. Results Postoperatively, the exophthalmos increased 1.5~5 mm,and the appearance is similar to that before trauma.Postoperatively, the diplopia disappeared at 3 months in 12(92.3%). Conclusions For orbital blow-out fracture patients, orbital reconstruction with Medopor implantantion should be performed shortly after trauma so that the exophthalmos and diplopia can be improved and treated effectively.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
