Research of Chengdu Hakka dialect vocabulary and culture

The outlook of the Hakka dialect vocabulary and the cultural content reflected by it are discussed.As regard to vocabulary,Chengdu Hakka dialect not only inherits the featured vocabulary of the rich Hakka dialect,but also absorbs a certain amount of Southwestern Mandarin words.Moreover,it develops and changes them in a unique way.With respect to culture Chengdu Hakka dialect includes rich cultural concepts which present the outlook and characteristics of Chengdu Hakka dialect,contains original belief such as bird worship,reproduction worship and nature worship and reveals history,culture and ideology.
