Abstract
Objective To investigate the semen quality of the patients with primary male infertility and provide relevant clinical data for the treatment of male infertility. Methods The semina of 430 patients with primary male infertility who were treated in our hospital from January 2012 to December 2013 were collected and the computerassisted semen analysis technique was used to analyze the semen quality comprehensively. Results Of the 430 patients with primary male infertility, the patients with semen volume 2 mL accounted for 5.8%; The patients with semen liquidation time 60 minutes accounted for 2.3%; The patients with sperm density 20×106/mL accounted for 33.0%; The patients with sperm motility(grade a motion) 25% accounted for 92.7%; The patients with white blood cell count 2/HP accounted for 54.9%. Conclusion Decreased sperm quality is the major factor leading to male primary infertility.
