Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical effcet on combination of mitomycin C and sodium hyaluronate in glaucoma trabeculectomy. Methods 32 cases used mitomycin C and sodium hyaluronate in glaucoma trabeculectomy.Postoperative visual acuity, intraocular pressure, anterior chamber, bleb formation and related complications were observed. Results Post-operative vision was returned to the preoperative level and intraocular pressure was controlled.31 cases were functional blebs(96.87%),only 3 eyes appearred shallow anterior chamber. There was one eye occurring hyphema, and choroidal detachment. Conclusion The combination of mitomycin C and sodium hyaluronate in glaucoma trabeculectomy, which can increase the successful rate of surgery and reduce postoperative complications.
