Measures to Construct a New Countryside in North Jiangsu Province

Abstract
The construction of a new countryside in North Jiangsu Province is a systematic project which will do good to 17.30 million peasants.We should take the following measures to promote it: increase the peasants' income and better their levels of living;increase financial support and help them to improve their living conditions;speed up the adjustment of economic structure to promote agricultural development;strengthen infrastructural construction;conduct labor training,educate the peasants by advanced culture and arouse their initiative;and pay special attention to the construction of local harmonious society. Only in this way can the project be substantially promoted,and the set target can be realized successfully.
