On the Territory Change of Modern Western Yunnan

Abstract
This paper is focused on the western territory change of modern Yunnan.The arrival of western colonizers and the colonization and Myanmar have changed the traditional pattern of western Yunnan,making it directly faced with the invasion of the British colonizers.Weakness of the government of the late Qing Dynasty and the government of the Republic of China made China successively lose some territory covering Jiangxinpo,Xiaojiang River Basin,Chashandi,Mengmao Triangle Area,Banlao and Gongmingshan of Awashan and a part of Banhong.
