Abstract
The effect of nitrogen rates on grain yield and biological of winter wheat were studied in Langfang experimental base of centre for laboratory soil testing of Academy of Agricultural Sciences of China from 2007 to 2008.Result indicated that a conic relationship was found between nitrogen rates and wheat yield under sprinkling irrigation low soil fertility condition. The highest grain yield was obtained when the nitrogen rate was 239.63 kg/hm2.Nitrogen application increased plant height, number of tiller, leaf area index and the final harvest spikes of winter within the nitrogen rates from 60 to 300 kg/hm2.
