Abstract
STEP is the standard about product data representation and exchanging planned by ISO. The paper introduced the process of building up STEP AP224 feature information model . On the basis of the feature model, we build up the multi-combined CAPP system to automatically implement the process planning. Through the method of interaction between man and machine .It meets the need of information integrating to CAD/CAPP/CAM and provides the condition to build up the AI CAPP system.
