Abstract
Since the reform of housing policy in 1998,economically affordable housing has been recognized as a major part of public housing provided to urban residents.After one decade of housing reform,trail efforts have been made. However,such policy performance has been regionally different.On the strength of combing Chinese affordable housing reform and comparing special items among the current 36 municipal affordable housing regulations,this paper proposes housing provision system should be more people-oriented in order to meet the decent housing need from the low and mid income families.
