Rural Well-off Society Construction and the Development of Our Country's Agricultural Higher Education

The third step of the strategic plan for our country's socialist modernization construction is building a well-off society in an all-around way in the first 20 years of the 21st century. The key is building a rural well-off society. But many difficulties we confront with when we build a rural well-off society are directly connected with our country's long-term neglect of agricultural higher education, the relative development lag of agricultural higher education and the irrational layout and structure of the whole nation's higher education. This thesis roundly analyzed the development actualities of our country's agricultural higher education and realized that if we want to achieve the aim of building a well-off society in an all-round way, we must highly think much of and support the development of agricultural higher education based on the understanding of the strategy of reinvigorating China through human resource development, elevate the quality of rural human resources and try to serve the rural well-off society construction with agricultural higher education.
