Realistic Thinking Mode in Traditional Chinese Culture

The realistic thinking mode is the essential thinking mode in Chinese traditional culture.It has dominated Chinese society before Tang dynasty,which gives place to ontological thinking mode with the influence of the deification of Confucianism and the western culture.Compared with the ontological thinking mode,this kind of thinking emphasizes that thinking question should come from reality i.e.begin with the questions around,and thinking must start from the concrete situations rather than abstract ideal,and it never sticks to any invariable principle.In other words,thinking must be based on the reality that is not cut down or distorted in light of the formers' achievement,the knowledge in books or the previous experience.Chinese culture is changed into taking ontological thinking mode as main current from the realistic thinking method,but the western culture gradually breaks away from ontological thinking.When the realistic thinking mode plays the leading role,the society will be full of vigor,otherwise it will be at a standstill.Therefore,to review and develop this kind of thinking will have great significance in reality.
