Practice and innovation of landlord port mode in domestic ports:case study of the development of Jiaxing Port

With an analysis of the connotation of landlord port mode,this paper explores the reason,condition and restrictive factors of Jiaxing Port in practicing the landlord port mode.Through analyzing the innovative points of Jiaxing Port's landlord mode and its positive role in promoting the Port's development,the paper puts forward the countermeasures in accordance with the problems and deficiencies the port faces.Furthermore,the referential role of Jiaxing Port to other coastal ports concerning the distribution of land-ownership,integrated planning of port,financial support,as well as the management mode,etc.is expounded.
