Abstract
Based on the test result of experimental study on navigation technique of Tugutang Hydro-junction Project of Xiangjiang River, two plane layouts were compared according to the navigable flow condition of the curving connecting section of upstream lock entrance of the hydro-junction.The effect factors of navigable flow condition were analyzed in this paper, then the optimization plans were given. On the basis of the comprehensive analysis and comparison for the optimization plans from the aspects of discharge capacity, navigation flow conditions and ship navigation conditions, the recommended scheme for plane layout was proposed. The flow characteristics of the bend reach were also summarized to solve the navigation safety problems of such projects.
