Abstract
Currently, it's critical period of rapid development for Chinese agricultural informatization, defining the development stage of agricultural informatization accurately will be crucial to make a scientific development strategy of agricultural informatization. The article analyzed the development theory of informatization at home and abroad, and then proposed the basic development theory of Chinese agricultsural informatization. On this base, the article studied the development history and stage characteristics of Chinese agricultural informatization and defined its current development stage. At last, it suggested to develop agricultural informatization by highlighting the government leading role, paying attention to regional coordination and layout, and promoting the integration of production, teaching and research.
