Agricultural informatization has gained much attention in the world. It has become an important support for the development of modern agriculture. This paper focuses on the development issues of agricultural informatization in major countries in the world. Analysis and comparison research are carried out in terms of overall development levels, development routes, start-up basis and background, the role of government, driving force of development, preferential policies, regulations of technical trainings, construction achievements, etc. Main problems in the construction of China's agricultural informatization are studied and analyzed. The paper also proposes targeted countermeasures according to China's actual situation in the construction of agricultural informatization.
