Abstract
Objective The study explored the knowledge ofhealth and the influencing factors among ruralresidents in Hebei, aiming to provide a reference for the improvement of health of rural residents. Methods 1000 adult residents in rural Hebei who had clear conscious and were willing to cooperate with the survey were selected by stratified random sampling as the research subjects.The subjects were then surveyed by a self-designed physical health knowledge questionnaire and a mental health knowledge questionnaire. Results Theresidentsin ruralHebeihad moderatelevelsofhealth knowledge. Occupation and work stresswere the influencing factors for their knowledge of physical health(P0.05), and educational level and work stress were the influencing factors for their knowledge of mental health(P0.05). Conclusion There are rooms for improvement in the level of knowledge of physical and mental health among the residents in rural Hebei. Improving the health knowledge of farmers and individuals with little work stress or with poor educational levels should be emphasized.
