Abstract

The Rong Meichun's house retains the basic features of the traditional local architecture in the Taihu area,but it is also characteristic of both the local architecture in Wuxi and the western architecture.On the basis of the survey,the paper has analyzed its architectural features including the layout,the structure system,the appearance and the detailed decoration.We can find the architectural and cultural features in the Lane Rong historical quarters in the house.
