Abstract

Aimed at the mixed traffic flows of motorized vehicle and non-motorized vehicle in China, a kind of intersection model base is established on two-dimensional cellular automata, and a simulation system of the intersection model using VC is bulit. The simulation system can be used to simulate multi-phase traffic flow of plane CROSSROAD, and, according to the change of traffic density, to improve the operating status of traffic flow by real-time changing the control programs of lights to identify the best control program of one-intersection-signal.
