Clinical Observation of Integrated Chinese-western Therapy on Children with Asthmatic Bronchitis

Objective Observe clinical effect of integrated TCM and western medicine on asthmatic bronchitis with children. Methods298 children with asthmatic bronchitis were randomly divided into control group and treatment group,149 cases in each group,control group were given conventional antibacterial,antiviral and other western medicine treatment,the treatment group based on the control group plused TCM medicine,7 days as a course. In the end of treatment,compared two groups of symptoms disappeared,signs of time,hospitalization time and curative effect. Results The treatment group with the disappearance time of cough,wheezing and rales disappearance time and hospitalization time were shorter than the control group,the difference between two groups was statistically significant( P 0. 01); the cure rate and total effective rate of treatment group were higher than that of the control group,the differences between two groups were statistically significant( P 0. 01). Conclusion Integrated TCM and western therapy on asthmatic bronchitis with children has obviously cure effect,should be popularized in clinical application.
