Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy on acute bronchitis in children treated with combination of Chinese and Western medicine. Methods 64 cases of children with acute bronchitis were randomly divided into control group and observation group.Children in the control group were treated with conventional Western medicine, while children in the observation group were treated with additional Chinese medicine. The clinical effects of the two groups were compared after the end of treatment. Results The total clnical effective rate was 96.88% in the observation group, higher than that of 75.00% in the control group, with significant difference(χ2 = 4.6545,P 0.05).No obvious side ef-fects were seen in both the observation group and the control group. Conclusion Combined Chinese and Western medicine treatment of acute bronchitis in children is effective and safe, which is recommended to further promote in clinic.
