Effects of Edaravone Combined with Simvastatin in Patients with Acute Cerebral Infarction with High Sensitivity C-reactive Protein and Blood Lipids

Abstract
Objective To observe the effects of Edaravone combined with simvastatin in patients with acute cerebral infarction with high sensitivity C-reactive protein and blood lipids.Methods 135 patients with acute cerebral infarction were randomly divided into the Conventional group and the edaravone combined with simvastatin group.The basis of conventional treatment group were simvastatin 20mg plus oral,he edaravone combined with simvastatin group plus saline intravenous 100ml infusion of edaravone 30mg,2 times/day,the rest of the treatment with the conventional group.Two groups were compared hs-CRP and lipid and NIHSS score.Results Two groups of serum concentrations of hs-CRP were significantly decreased(P0.05),However,edaravone combined with simvastatin groups decreased more significantly(P0.05).The NIHSS of combination group decreased significantly(P0.05).The decrease in lipid levels between the two groups was not significant(P0.05).Conclusion Combined with simvastatin edaravone treatment of acute cerebral infarction,without affecting the lipid-lowering effects of simvastatin at the same time,can also reduce hs-CRP levels,reduce the damage to the nervous system.
