Abstract

ArcGIS9 software package, a new generation GIS software of ESRI, includes ArcGIS Engine which is based on ArcObjects. It can help developer to build a low cost and special GIS application, which is independent of ArcGIS Desktop. The developing method is discussed with VC++6.0 based on ArcGIS Engine, which has the practical value.
