Summary of the Researches on Zhejiang's Status in the History of Cultural Exchanges Between China and Japan

Located at the east coast of China and separated from Japan by a mere strip of water,Zhejiang has had marine traffic facilities since ancient times.The relations between Zhejiang and Japan are of great significance in the studies of the cultural exchanges between China and Japan.Both Chinese and Japanese scholars have covered this subject for long and achieved a great number of academic results,but if we look back over the content of these researches,it is not difficult to discover that the angle of the researches is limited and some of the topics chosen for discussion are open to question.
