Abstract
A simple XAS apparatus was set up on BSRF-3B3 beamline.Measurements of S,P,Cl,Ca,Al and Mg K-edge XAS in their compounds have been carried out.The results show that it is feasible to do XAS research on 3B3 beamline under present condition.Efforts are underway to develop a more delicate medium XAS spectrometer,including transmission,fluorescence and electronic yield modes.According to our calculations,the experimental setup will satisfy the needs for XAS studies.This will help to develop medium X-ray absorption spectroscopy.
