A Study of Open Teaching in Entomology Curriculum in Agricultural and Forestry University

Abstract

Entomology is a key module of plant production major curriculum in higher agricultural and forestry university,characterized by a close integration of theory with practice.In this paper,we proposed a new model of open teaching in entomology.Entomology open teaching model focuses on practice and opens the teaching content,teaching methods and modes,and evaluation in the whole process of theory teaching,experiment teaching and practice,highlighting the diversity of teaching activities.This model helps strengthen students' innovativeness and hence ensures the teaching quality.
