Abstract
The reason of pump shaft fracture was analyzed by macroscopic and microscopic fracture observing.The results show that the pump shaft fracture is belong to fatigue fracture.And some advice about design manufacture and maintain ance are put forward.After improvement,no accident of pump shaft fracture occurred.
