The practice of nursing post management

Objective To investigate the effectiveness of nursing post management.Methods Stratified nursing posts were set in accordance with the requirements of nursing post management.Appropriate programs of training,assessment,and performance appraisal for all levels of nursing posts were developed and implemented.The quality of care,patient satisfaction,nursing staff satisfaction and turnover were investigated before and after the implementation of post management.Results After the implementation of nursing post management,the quality of intensive care,basic care,ward management,management of key links,first aid medicine and equipment management,patient satisfaction and nursing staff satisfaction were significantly improved(P 0.01).The incidence of forecast pressure ulcer,falls and complaints decreased(P 0.05).Conclusion On the basis of hierarchical set of nursing posts,job training and performance appraisal,the implementation of nursing post management can improve management efficiency and provide new ideas for the practice of high-quality nursing care.
