Abstract
The elder Chinese painting masters Lin Fengmian, Zhao Wuji and the yo un ger artists Tian Li-ming, Lu Yu-shun in absorbing the essence from Chinese and W estern painting, creating and combining it effectively.This paper emphasizes tha t only by deeply understanding the traditional culture spirit and grasping the t ime characteristics during the course of painting creation ,can we have our own artistic language forms and update the tradition to promote the development of t he traditional culture spirit.
