Management System of Engineering Drawings

According to demand of enterprises in engineering drawing management, a management system of engineering drawings was developed by using database techniques, computer network techniques, image processing and compressing techniques and Client/Server architecture. The method of solving security problem by database techniques was introduced in this paper. By means of the techniques of image compression and image processing, the method to fast display and browse the engineering drawings was discussed. Various technical difficulties in reserving and managing engineering drawings of paper will be solved by means of management system of engineering drawings in practical engineering, while the drawbacks of traditional engineering drawings reserving method will be eliminated completely. Management system of engineering drawing has many advantages, such as convenient in use quick in browse, so it is worthy of using and spreading.
