Abstract
Over expression of recombinant proteins in Escherichia coli cytoplasm often results in the formation of insoluble inclusion bodies.These inclusion bodies should be washed with denaturation buffer firstly,then followed by denaturation and refolding in proper buffer to harvest the active proteins.Recently,with the development of studying in mechanism of protein refolding,some new strategies were reported to solve this problem.In this review,the related methods were summarized here.
