Economic Impact Assessment of Middle Route of South-to-North Water Diversion Project on Water Source Area in Henan Province Based on Uncertain AHP Method

Abstract

The construction and operation of Middle Route of South-to-North Water Diversion Project can relieve water shortage in northern region of China and at the same time set an even higher demand on economic development and environmental protection of water source area.Influences of the Middle Route on water resource areas are omnifarious.Therefore,it is difficult to measure the influence using single index.This paper selects the water source area in Henan Province as a case study area.Based on uncertain AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) method,the paper establishes an evaluation index system of impact assessment of Middle Route of South-to-North Water Diversion Project on water source area in Henan Province.Then it constructs an interval judgment matrix of indexes.Finally,it calculates weights of indexes by optimal diversion matrix and calculates influence effect of Middle Route on industries in water source area in Henan Province.The results show that the order of impacts on industry in water resource areas in Henan Province from the strongest to the weakest is the secondary industry,the primary industry and tertiary industry.
